I love these lashes and get many compliments but every now and then, especially lately, I have received ones that were very "pokey" and hurt so bad I had to remove them, always has been on only one eye but having to replace one eye ruins a whole set. It is not that the lashes were placed too low, the edge just was poking my eyelid. When I would rub my lid you could feel the rough edge. Other than that I love the lashes. How long they last depends on different factors, like crying, watery eyes from allergies, swimming, sweating, etc, They dont last as long when these things happen but still an acceptable retention time compared to other lashes I have used. I liked the old bond applicator in the larger size, I hate the new smaller size and the applicator brush.
